Time for A Yard Sale

Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while.  The weather was so nice in March and April that we started thinking it was summer and started working in the yard and enjoying the sun.  Therefore,  I got a little behind on the blog.   I've also had a few decorating projects going on.  They will soon be done.   Just a few more finishing touches then I'll share some pictures with you.

I'm getting a little antsy for a few yard sales for some serious treasure hunting.   So far May has been pretty wet with cloudy days and rain.  Weekends have been pretty unpredictable so the games have not begun.

Here's a treasure I found last summer at a yard sale for $6.
This desk had a few stains and some minor fix-ups so I sanded it down and gave it a prime coat first.
I refinished it in a pale robin egg blue and added some ceramic knobs, which I'm always collecting.

The drawers were lined with tan and black wrapping paper from Tai Pan.

Took it to my shop at Urban Country Boutique and sold it in a couple of days.  That's what I like.

Thanks for visiting today.  I would love to hear from you.
